First Point Assessment Limited (FPAL) is the oil and gas supply chain database for the UK and The Netherlands and is a division of Achilles Information Limited. FPAL is the key tool used by oil and gas purchasers to identify and select current and potential suppliers when awarding contracts or purchase orders. FPAL was set up in 1996 by the industry as their solution to internal vendor approved lists and continues to successfully eliminate costly duplication in pre-qualifying suppliers.

OGESS was formed to provide a first class electrical maintenance service for international Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Marine operations.

Electrical maintenance support operations for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical & Marine applications on a global basis is our core business, distance and location are no object to OGESS personnel.

The principle electrical engineer and Company Director is John Milne. John has over 30 years experience in the power industry and oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore locations. OGESS has a diverse knowledge and experience base which has been built up supporting major oil operators primarily in the North Sea. In this role we have demonstrated accountability for the safe and efficient management of all electrical operations and procedures as appropriate to our clients requirements.

There is a constant need to perform maintenance/inspection activities utilising limited resources, this can often compromise the effectiveness of the maintenance program and can increase the risk of equipment failure. OGESS can fill this void and supply resource and knowledge base to assist with outstanding maintenance requirements.
